This lower level remodel project is one of a kind!  The lower level desperately in need of an update, got a total makeover.  Updated electrical, windows, doors and a fireplace highlight this project.

Blending the Old with the New. 

This charming home, which is located in the popular West Side neighborhood of Midvale Heights, is an example of a nearly complete interior, and partial exterior renovation.  The home was purchased by an investor who was referred to TAK Remodeling by a local real estate company.  We addressed the structural issues in the existing framework of the home, updated the electrical, replaced the roof, and added square footage to the basement, including a second bathroom.  The homeowner/ investor wanted to keep the home’s original character and charm while also offering its future owner modern day amenities and style.  We worked closely with this investor to create her vision, and the final product yielded a home that sold after only ten days on the market.

No walls? No Problem.

An investor/ client of ours took Tracy, the owner of TAK Remodeling, to this property before purchasing it. It had no kitchen, no bathroom, no plumbing, missing walls over some of the pipes, and it was lucky to have doors. Tracy’s response was, “No problem.”  The investor purchased this property and we underwent a total renovation, including a new roof, upgraded electrical, and total gutting and interior renovation. The end result was a beautiful, two bedroom charmer, close to lake Monona. It was purchased by someone who raved endlessly about the gorgeous custom laid tile and woodwork upstairs, and the expansive, newly created, family room downstairs, complete with carpet are recessed lighting.
